Hi, I’m Wren. I’m a writer and strategist based in San Francisco.

I bring brands to life through product, content, and messaging strategy.

I’m currently a lead brand strategist at Venmo. I have 12+ years of experience working with creative teams to build user-friendly experiences and trustworthy brands. I aim to drive customer joy and cultural relevance in everything I do.

I’m curious about the symbols and systems that motivate people and inspire action.

I approach every project with equal parts creativity and strategy. I combine clear writing, compelling insights, and thoughtful frameworks to connect with audiences and build trust. My training in anthropology and qualitative research helps me see patterns and find creative solutions.

There’s always more to imagine. If I’m not crafting taglines, building brand systems, or testing value props, I’m probably practicing some other kind of writing—as a volunteer tutor for student authors at 826 Valencia, as a freelance writer and editor, or as a lifelong fan of (good, bad, and weird) books, movies, and TV.
