Common Sense is an established nonprofit brand that is evolving to meet the needs of a growing audience of parents, educators, and kids’ advocates. I work closely with designers, marketers, and program strategists to push the brand forward, ensuring clarity and consistency along the way. In 2017, we had the opportunity to refresh our homepage design.
Common Sense Education (brand strategy, UX writing)
Common Sense Education is home to all teacher- and student-facing resources from Common Sense, including the award-winning K–12 Digital Citizenship Curriculum. We recently revamped the curriculum’s branding and improved the product experience.
Battery Powered (UX writing, content design, copywriting)
The founders of The Battery, a social club in San Francisco, wanted to be known for more than hosting swanky events. They wanted to create a space for community-building, learning, and generosity. And so, Battery Powered was born.
